"Great food and cocktails!"
“I was in NYC for 3 weeks during the holidays and I ate here four times. First was for brunch and my friend and I shared the Cluny Burger. You have the option to add bacon and cheese from a selection, so apple wood bacon and blue cheese were a perfect addition. You also have the option to switch your fries to a simple green salad with vinaigrette dressing if you want a healthier option. The burger was delicious, juicy, and perfectly seasoned on a nice warm, slightly toasted bun. On a daily basis, they would add some dishes in their menu so we also shared a nice refreshing kale salad. My friend was raving about the cocktails… I tried the St. Vincent which is Hendricks Gin with grapefruit, basil and ginger. I was apprehensive at first since I'm not a big fan of grapefruit but this drink had me come back to this place three more times. It was delicious!!!…The last time was for breakfast the day before I left NYC. I had the brioche French toast served with berries and a side of the apple wood bacon. I just love that balance of sweet and savory. The French toast was light and fluffy but crispy on the outside…The service is great and I just love the atmosphere because its your small neighborhood restaurant and people are just there to enjoy the great food… I will definitely come back here.”

“(Cafe Cluny) has long been on my ‘must visit’ list and we were not disappointed. Went for a late dinner and enjoyed every minute of it. Nice staff, great food - the salmon was beautifully plated under ‘petals’ of shaved heart of palm… We shared a traditional French frisee salad with lardons and poached egg to start and an apricot & almond tart with Marcona almond ice cream for dessert. Really lovely and satisfying meal, looking forward to a repeat visit on our next trip.”
